Maybe Northern Italy Trieste April or May

What I like about Trieste is that it is an old city. It is  a charming place with a quiet atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Adriatic. James Joyce once lived there. It is more eastern European because it is close to Slovania and Croatia.Trieste also is easy access to Venice.
